Total radiation
During the infiltration of Earth atmosphere, the solar
radiation is weakened by reflections, diffuse and absorption caused by dust
particles and gas molecules. A part of the radiation which crossed the
atmosphere without any obstacles reaches directly the surface of Earth. It is so
called direct radiation. A part of the solar radiation which was reflected or
absorbed by dust particles or gas molecules and than deradiated by them reaches
the surface of Earth in an uncontrolled way. It is so called diffuse radiation.
