HEAT
PUMPS
Heat pumps are devices enabling heat transformation from
low-temperature sources (called lower heat sources) to the higher energy level (called
upper heat source). Because of the low energy level it is impossible to use
lower heat sources for heating or to conditioning purposes directly. They can be
used after appropriate heat transformation (pumping) through heat pumps. All
around the world heat pumps used in heating, air conditioning and industrial
installations have become extremely popular. What is more, the dynamic
development of these devices can still be observed. They do not emit (when they
are absolutely hermetic) any polluting substances harmful to the natural
environment so they are entirely ecological. Additionaly, because of the current
prices of petrol, heating and air conditioning installations based on heat pumps
become competitive when compared with traditional heating and air conditioning
systems. This is the main reason of the growing popularity of heat pumps also in
Poland.
Popular “lower heat sources” for heat pumps:
- an outspread underground pipeline
- two wells
- concrete absorbers
- a river or a pond
- atmospheric air
- a sewage systems
- waste heat in technological process
The option with two wells additionally provide own
water which can be used to sanitary and comestible purposes. C/h system
can be installed in a way that the use of heat pump in summer could be
reversed and turned into air conditioning system.

These modern, energy-saving, fully automatic and broad
devices can be used in the systems of effective heat and cool management. They
can work as a heating machinery for central heating purposes, preparations of
usable hot water and for air conditioning purposes in residential, public and
industrial buildings. Really advantageou effects are gained when pumps are used
in industrial cooling and heating installations where free waste heat from
technological process can be used.
A heat pump receives heat from the lower source
with the low temperature (from -5°C to +10°C) like ground, water or
air and then transmits it to the upper source with the high
temperature (heating installations, usable hot water). Hibernatus
heat pumps are devices with extremely compact structure, having all
mocern features like:
- System of liquid factor’s cooling in a special laminated
vaporizator;
- Modern cooling compressor with the high COP coolant causing the
reduction of device’s energy-intensive process;
- The new generation trimedial laminated condensers which enable to
gain two or more circuits of upper source;
- Implemented modern operating factors;
- Small quantity of operating coolant in a heat pump’s system;
- Good heat and acoustic insulation of pump’s elements;
- Microprocessed steering with the opportunity of two-way
communication with a PC;
- Controling of small steam overheating of operating factor on the
vaporizator;
- Small size of a device what facilitates transport, installation
and service.
