Isofom is a pearl-grey-coloured extruded flexible insulating pipe in foamed polyethylene with closed cells. It is avaible in the standard (without outer protection)and R (with outer protection) versions. Isofom R is coated with fully adhesive scratch-proof film, which guarantees outstanding tearing and abrasion resistance.
Isofom Light, elastic and flexible Isofom allows quick and easy application, even when it is to be inserted into small-radius bend pipes. Since it is an extruded product provided with a cellular memory, it is suitable for already laid pipes, enabling easy sticking.
Isofom is made of an inorganic material. Therefore, it is odourless, does not rot and is resistant to mildew, insects and UV-rays. Due to its low thermal conductivity coefficient, it is highly insulating and particularly suitable for insulating pipes in heating, air-conditioning, solar energy and sanitary systems. Operative temperatures range from -45 °C to +100 °C.
A wide range of thincknesses are available for each diameter, in the standard and filmed versions, thus allowing you to comply with Law 10.
